The history of

The Birth

GardeTheDuellist started playing America's Army in 2006 with his real-life friend FlyByNibiru. In July 2010, Garde joined his first clan, a multilingual group with four leaders and no formal rules. The clan rented a game server for three months, with Garde covering 70% of the costs. Despite the lack of financial contributions from most leaders, they all held administrative privileges.

Disillusioned with the clan's structure and leadership, Garde and his teammate Taurus sought to establish a new clan based on different principles: a single leader, clear and equitable rules, equal rights for all members, a merit-based system for privileges, and a friendly atmosphere.

In September 2010, Garde launched the "=ER^b=" project, with support from FlyByNibiru and Taurus. The trio aimed to create a unique clan experience within the context of America's Army 2. Drawing inspiration from Napoleon's Army, Garde's personal passion, and the collective knowledge and experiences of the team, they set out to build a clan that stood out from the crowd.

The name "EAGLE'S REVENGE" was chosen to evoke the spirit of Napoleon's Grande Armée, particularly its elite Garde Imperiale. It contains a reference to the Battle of Waterloo.The clan's distinctive yellow-on-red logo, featuring a stylized Napoleonic eagle, further emphasized this historical connection.

The clan's tag, "=ER^b=", incorporated the stylized eagle symbol, "=^=". The original logo depicted a real Napoleonic eagle, illuminated by a light source, with two additional eagles observing it. This imagery symbolized the clan's commitment to the Napoleonic heritage and its members' readiness to fight alongside the leader.

After finalizing the clan's name, tag, logo, website, forum, rules, and roles, we turned our attention to recruitment. To avoid disrupting other clans, we opted for a discreet approach, sending private messages from Garde's America's Army 2 account to his friends who were either unaffiliated or inactive in other clans. We informed them about the "=ER^b=" project and invited them to join us on this new adventure.

Garde personally contacted the following players: Gloob, Bone_W_Machine (now known as Vredesbyrd), FuxAx, Levander243 (now Levander), [U8] slaktarn(swe) (now slaktarn70), Roby!999, Sgt.Coke, and ioulios. Additionally, Taurus reached out to Imaiser.

Five players accepted our invitation, though one was subsequently removed from the clan a few days later. To ensure a smooth launch, Garde rented a game server and TeamSpeak server two days before the official start of "=ER^b=" activities.

23 november 2010 EAGLE'S REVENGE brigade started his adventure with: GardeTheDuellist, Taurus, FlyByNibiru, Gloob, Imaiser, Vredesbyrd and FuxAx. From 18.30 to 23.00 cet all =ER^b= members joined TS and gameserver for the first time, we played on our favorite map "Border".

America's Army 2

A few days later, Levander joined the clan, followed by Slaktarn a few weeks later. Fidelios and Titaci, friends of Garde's who had also left their previous clan, joined "=ER^b=" to embark on this new venture. Over the following months, the clan grew to include 19 active America's Army 2 players.

Unfortunately, America's Army 2 was on the decline, limiting opportunities for competitive play. There was only one other active clan on our preferred map, but their leader had lost interest in clan wars. We found an active clan, [TG], on a different map and decided to challenge them. On June 17, 2011, we played our first clan war. We secured a decisive 12-0 victory on our map but suffered a 4-8 loss on their map (Bridge).

Bad Company 2

In july 2011 we started our adventure on Bad Company 2, with 5 players: Garde, Titaci, Gloob, Slaktarn and OMG (FuxAx) . It was a short experience to prepare our clan to join Battlefield 3.

First =ER^b= Meeting and first =ER^b= Award in Bibione (Italy)

The "=ER^b=" clan fostered a friendly and supportive environment. In March 2011, we held our first video conference, and during a subsequent call in April, we decided to organize a real-world meeting in Bibione, Italy, on August 27, 2011.

The meeting was a fantastic experience, bringing together Garde and his girlfriend, Gloob and his girlfriend, Titaci and his family, Vredesbyrd, and Levander. During the event, Garde presented custom awards he had designed to recognize the contributions of his clanmates. FlyByNibiru joined the celebration via phone call, and Garde also phoned a tipsy Imaiser to share greetings from the group. A special shoutout was sent to Johnny, who unfortunately couldn't attend.

Battlefield 3

28 october 2011 we started our adventure on Battlefield 3, we were: Garde, Fly, Titaci, Vred, Slak and Imaiser. 13 may 2012 we played our first cw on BF3 against UKO it was a draw 1-1. After 1 year Gloob joined BF3, other 8 players joined =ER^b=.

New logo

15 april 2012 new =ER^b= logo. From the old logo the 2 brown eagles which rapresents =ER^b= players, same font used by Napoleon, Napoleon's crown used for his coronation (2 december 1804, Notre-Dame, Paris, France), Napoleon's logo (on the shield), on the left side the eagle of the French 105th Infantry Regiment on Waterloo, on the right side the eagle of the French 45e Regiment on Waterloo.

26 april 2012, from today we have YouTube channel and our first video

30 may 2012, our first =ER^b= gameserver on BF3

8 september 2012, 2nd =ER^b= meeting, it was a not announced meeting, Vredesbyrd said to Garde "tomorrow i have to join Milan", so Garde called Fly and here is the second meeting.

13 september 2013 =ER^b= have 15 players on BF3 now

Battlefield 4

31 october 2013 from today on BF4. First team: GardeTheDuellist, Titaci, Slaktarn, Vredesbyrd, Gloob, Jazex, Fugs, JcOne, and DarkNosfe.

23 november 2013, 3rd birthday of =ER^b= and brand new web site.

10 august 2014, "The Battle Of 2 Buildings". Epic rounds during our 3rd match for 1st INKA tournament, on USA gameserver. After a heavy penalty from refree, we didn't give up but we played a very intensive match with a masterpiece of cohesion and strategy, we reversed the result of the match until the final victory.

23 november 2014, 4th birthday of =ER^b=

1 december 2014, 3rd =ER^b= meeting in Rho/Milan, Italy

27 june 2015, the clan's logo has been updated.

July/august 2015, 4th =ER^b= meeting, we were in Milan, Rimini and Cervia with: Garde, Vred, Titaci, Jc, and Cran.

23 november 2015, 5th birthday of =ER^b=

America's Army Proving Grounds

23 november 2015, we back to the roots, the new version of AA is the new game of =ER^b=. From the first team of the first day of the activity

of our clan Garde, Gloob, Imaiser and Fly are on AAPG, from AA2 Titaci and Slaktarn, from other our games there are Jc and Alex.

Black Squad

ERB5 Racing Team

8 december 2017, the 2nd division of =ER^b= is born: ERB5 Racing Team. For a new gaming experience, car racing. From now =ER^b= for FPS games, ERB5 are for car racing games. =ER^b= is the head quarter of all divisions of our clan. GardeTheDuellist and FlyByNibiru are founders and first joiners of ERB5.

CoD mobile

25 november 2019, Garde and Fly are testing a new game, It's CoD mobile.

5 jamuary 2020, CoD mobile is the new game of =ER^b=, playble with smartphone or Pc with an Android emulator. At same time We moved our voice channel to Discord. it's a new era for our clan.

First guys from our clan to join this new game are: GardeTheDuellist, FlyByNibiru, Slaktarn70, Alex and JcOne.

Old Guard of =ER^b=

1 february 2020. After nearly a decade of activity, we wanted to recognize the members who have been loyal to "=ER^b=" for many years. Even during periods of inactivity, they've maintained their connection to the clan and remained true to our tag. These dedicated members are the Old Guard of "=ER^b=": GardeTheDuellist, FlyByNibiru, Slaktarn70, Gloob, Imaiser, and Alex.

While they may not be part of the Old Guard, we also acknowledge the contributions of former teammates Titaci, Vredesbyrd, and JcOne. Although they're no longer actively playing America's Army 2 or are part of other clans, they continue to stay in touch with us.
